Beata designed the frame of this sofa with the vision to wrap it entirely in fabric, which is interlined and hand-stitched to neatly cover the solid beech structure underneath. No mean feat by our expert upholsterer! This elegant slatted design looks interesting from all angles and works particularly well floating in a room. Although it sits lightly in the room as a structure, the sofa is extremely comfortable. The back cushions are filled with a mix of feather and down, whilst the webbed seat is topped with a rubberised horsehair cushion in a feather and cotton felt wrap - the combination of which gives the perfect balance of comfort with a little bounce, whilst eliminating the need for frequent plumping - most relaxing. The legs are finished with solid brass cap feet. Traditionally made and upholstered in England.

Materials

FSC certified beech wood frame, feather and down cushion inners for the back cushions, rubberised horsehair in a feather wrap, covered with cotton felt for the seat cushion and finished with solid brass castors. Traditionally made and upholstered in England.

Items will be despatched with curbside delivery as standard. If specifying a fabric of your choice for a standard sized sofa: fabric required for the frame is 8 metres; and fabric required for the cushions is 10 metres. Trade pricing available on request.
