Paper Bag Bell Pendant
Our versatile Paper Bag Bell pendant uses our Sheer Butter Linen for a warm glow and is matched with a burnt red ceiling rose. The shade has a humble elegance and is finished with a whip stitch to give the hem a little structure. The structured shade beneath covered with a fabric skirt atop is much like a crinoline for a petticoat. This pendant works well as a ceiling light in a smaller room or above a basin in a powder room.
The Paper Bag collection is inspired by the relaxed, soft shades first created to cover and diffuse the harsh light of early versions of the Edison bulb, as popularised by the Wiener Werkstätte movement of the early 20th century.
